There is a knock on the front door of the person’s current residence. When they open it, they’ll find a small basket on their doorstep, neatly bundled blankets held within and carefully wrapped around the precious egg they’ve been given. Taped to the side of the basket is a note.
“Greetings. Thank you for taking the time to send in a leaflet and for showing an interest in adopting one of the pokémon eggs currently waiting for a new home. I am pleased to confirm that your request has been accepted. So long as you keep the egg in a warm, safe place it should hatch within three days at the least and a week at the most. If you wish to adopt another egg (or pokémon) you are more than welcome to return to the Centre when time next permits it.
- Mama Bear”
The lady hasn’t left the defenceless creature unattended, however. She waits nearby until she knows for certain that the egg safely indoors before taking her leave and returning to the Centre.

Neko lay sound a sleep in her bed until her snow white cat, Frost, comes barreling through the room and jumps on her face. Letting out a scream, Neko shoots up and looks around. “What the hell Frost? I was…” She was cut off though by Frost jumping on her again and yowling loudly. “Are you really going to do this this early in the morning?” The snowy cat jumps from the bed, yowls back at her owner, and dashes towards the front door. “Alright, I’m coming.”
She rolls out of bed, combing her fingers through her thick disheveled hair as she follows after Frost. She keeps meowing while pacing in front of the door and Neko lets out a groan. “I leave the kitchen window open for this very reason.” Neko opens the door to let Frost out, but when she doesn’t leave, she looks down.
Letting out a gasp, she bends over and picks up the basket. “What’s this?” Sapphire orbs scan over the note on the basket, a wide grin on her face. “So this is what you were all excited about!” She brought the basket inside and headed back towards her room, Frost trotting behind her. Neko gently removed the little bundled egg from the basket and placed it on her bed. Fixing her pillows and stuffed animals around it so it was in a cozy little nest. “Oh, I wonder what it’s going to be!”
Goodness gracious, the Centre has had a hefty influx of unwanted eggs in the past few days. Too many to be properly cared for, in fact.
There are 150 eggs needing new homes (please excuse the lack of update to the servers, the computer system is currently faulty). These will be given out at random on a first come first served basis.
If you wish to receive a pokémon egg, please come forward with this leaflet. Remember there’s a limited number, so you’ll have to be quick.
[[in other words the first 150 reblogs of this post will get a pokémon egg within the next few days. Please ensure your submits for this are open.]]
